Elementary and Secondary Education
Minot Public Schools With a growing enrollment of more than 6500 students, Minot is an exceptional district with one four-year high school which is divided into two campuses: Central Campus for grades 9 and 10, and Magic City Campus for grades 11 and 12. Minot Public Schools also has 3 middle schools, 12 neighborhood elementary schools, 2 alternative high school campuses, and a Head Start program for 0-5 year-olds.
Minot Catholic Schools (MCS) dedicate itself to providing all of its students an outstanding faith-based education. There are approximately 460 students enrolled in Preschool through grade 12 who come from a diverse community including non-Catholic churches, the Minot Air Force Base, and international students.
Comprised of Little Flower and Bishop Ryan High School, the Minot Catholic Schools maintain strong academic offerings in co-curricular, college preparation and student involvement in school activities in a positive and caring setting that strives to challenge each to be all they can be.
Our Redeemer's Christian School is a pre-K through 12 Community Christian School which serves approximately 275 students from over 30 congregations in the Minot area. All staff members are active Christians and the curriculum is Biblically based.

Higher Education
Minot State University (MSU) is a fully accredited university offering baccalaureate and graduate degrees, along with continuing education and online programs. The university is comprised of four academic units: College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business; College of Education and Health Sciences; and Graduate School.
MSU divisions such as business, criminal justice, health, finance, nursing, and developmental disabilities have been identified as core competencies that give Minot a strategic advantage in business retention and expansion.
Dakota College at Bottineau offers 42 career/technical programs or options leading to certificates of completion, diplomas, or AAS degrees. It also offers comprehensive university parallel/transfer coursework leading to AA or AS degrees. Programs of study include Business, Caregiver Services, Computer Technology, Education, Health Programs, and Natural Resources.
Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps provides no cost education and career technical training to young people ages 16-24 in the following vocational trades: Advanced Auto Technician; Carpentry; Electrocardiogram Technician; Facilities Maintenance; Food Service; Health Occupations, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); Medical Office Support; Office Administration; and Welding.
