Highway 52/Provincial 39 Summit Announced

The Highway 52 Committee will host a U.S. Highway 52/Provincial 39 Summit on October 19, 2017 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Kenmare High School Auditorium in Kenmare, ND.

The purpose of the summit is to promote a safer Highway 52 and potentially four-laning or twinning the highway. Businesses, community leaders, and individuals who utilize the highway are encouraged to attend. This all inclusive meeting is intended to bring Canada and North Dakota together to further discuss plans and options regarding the two highways.

Esteemed invitees are Governor Doug Burgum and Lt. Governor Brent Sanford. ND DOT Director Thomas Sorel and Saskatchewan Minister of Highways and Infrastructure David Marit have made plans to be in attendance. A brown bag lunch will be provided.
