BNSF expands Minot capabilities

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway has invested significantly-- to the tune of $35 million--in its Minot facility with two new inspection tracks and an indoor rail car repair facility. Ninety new employees were hired as part of the expansion, among them mechanics.

Governor Jack Dalrymple commended BNSF for its investment and noted the expansion will help BNSF accommodate increased demand from the petroleum industry.
